a devotional for those with mental illness

We have a passion for designing creative content for organizations that help our community, especially ministries and non-profits. OFTAMS, or Of Fig Trees & Mustard Seeds is just that; a ministry that seeks to help those suffering from mental illness.

What they needed:

OFTAMS was just getting started when we created their website. They had a Facebook page and that was about it. They needed a platform that could support a way to get their devotionals to their audience. Their website needs were fairly simple, and content fairly light. They just needed a simple blogging website that would be easy for them to update and easy for their audience to navigate.

What we did:

Wordpress was the obvious choice for a blog-based website and we used the Elementor plug-in to help make the interface more graphical for when the client needed to make updates on their own. Often, the Wordpress interface can feel overwhelming for clients when they need to make updates, so using a graphical web editor plug-in can be essential for a smooth transition.

This website build included:

• Finding and pairing fonts for their brand

• Establishing a color palette based off their new logo

• Page layouts

• Establishing a website through Wordpress
